Data Base Studies

To monitor the energy consumption in the industrial sector a data base program was established and surveys were made. The results for the years 1987, 1989 and 1991 were published so far. In the cooperation with State Statistical Institute, EIE started compilation of new data base system for information of plants consuming annually 500 TOE or more energy. Approximately 1200 questionnaires were sent to the plants. Evaluation studies for 1995 information have been concluded and the results published in 1998. This study has been repeated every year. Similar study has been started in building sector.
