TRAINING UNIT

Energy Conservation Training Unit, which was established as a part of "Energy Conservation Project" carried out by the collaboration of EIE/NECC and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), was opened by Minister of Energy and Nature Resources Mr. Zeki Çakan and Ambassador of Japan Mr. Shigeo Takenaka on 22 October, 2001.

This Training Unit containing all energy consuming equipment which available can be in any factory is used for practical training in the Energy Manager Courses organized by EIE/NECC.

Equipment in the Training Unit are; ---> Combustion Furnace ---> Boiler ---> Steam trap Unit ---> Revolution Machinery (Fan & Pump) ---> Air - Compressor ---> Lighting Energy losses in the system and the performance of the equipment are determined by using modern devices.

The Training Unit is also being given the services for the international Energy Manager Courses held for the Region Countries in order to create energy conservation awareness for the engineers from both Turkey and Neighbor Countries.
