ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS

Engineering geological investigations consists of geological and geotechnical researches of the river basins that comprises dam axis, power house and other engineering structures after pre-investigation hydroelectric potential of the region.

At this perspective, engineering geology maps, borehole core descriptions, geologic sections of investigation galleries and tunnels, rock mass classification along tunnel route are performed. In addition to this studies, stability and permeability of the lithologic formations dam site and reservoir area investigated. The results evaluated and engineering geology reports prepared. All of these studies applied at reconnaisance, master-plan, feasibility and final-design stages of the projects.
